Emotions are like scales, and placing life’s experiences on each side will create the sort of emotional flux most of us are experiencing. Sometimes we are extremely ecstatic, and sometimes we fall into moods of near depression. How can we as a human race blame anyone but ourselves? How are we to change and attract success back into our lives? Our news and media is dominated by the depressing reports from the world over. We are in the middle of a financial crisis - one that has seen no equal over the past century. New forms of disease run rampant throughout even the most modern of civilizations and even the very milk we drink has substances that can cause the deaths of innocents all over the world.
Something must be done. We should not, no, cannot allow ourselves to give into the melancholy of a bleak reality. We have to find the light and for that to happen; we need help. In addition, help can only come from the one person we can depend on at all times - ourselves. Whatever our emotional disposition is, we can attract success to our lives like a bee to honey if we just reach down deep within the recesses of our subconscious and change our mindsets. Our mind controls everything about us, and within the frontal lobe of the brain is where our emotions, our attitudes and our behaviours are controlled. There is no miracle cure that can instantaneously change our cerebral mechanism to view a more positive outlook on life; it can be a long arduous process of self reflection and discovery before we can reap the benefits.
Psychologists all over the world have narrowed down failure in life to the subconscious. The subconscious is primarily responsible for almost all aspects of our lives, because it is the predeterminant factor that affects how we set our goals, feel about ourselves and everything around us. There is nothing physical about it. We feel tired in the office and have no energy because we tell ourselves to do so. We look at risk with wary eyes and avoid it like the plague because we are taking instructions from a subconscious mind that is unwilling to embrace the unconventional. Due to negative past experiences in our lives or even by hearsay, our subconscious influences how we react to certain situations; whether it’s the lack of confidence in public-speaking, or even succumbing to depression because of how hard we think life has become. It is within ourselves to improve, and we all have both the power and potential to make a difference in our lives.
Meditation, hypnosis, technology, affirmation; these are just methods - inroads to the hand within our heart, within our spirit that can shatter the ice-cold barrier we have built over ourselves. The single tip that I can give you to attract success in your life is to think positive at all times. Break down the walls of uncertainty and doubt using the power of self persuasion. It will be hard to push through, but once you overcome the inertia; once you break the barrier in your life - you will gain a momentum like you have never seen before. Your outlook on life will be brighter than ever, you will tend to smile more, ambition becomes second nature and you will see new opportunities where you once saw grey patches of risk. Do yourself a favour and think positive. Your chance at success is at stake.

I find it quite amazing that we are a society of failures. This is because I would equate being contented to already surrendering to failure. We are a population of ‘make do’ individuals who are happy to sit on our laurels and watch the world go by. There are fewer grains on the Sahara than opportunities for you to genetically and evolutionarily not be here at all. Life is precious and I think we have been given hands for a reason - to reach out and grab opportunity and bend it to our will, use to our advantage and rest only when we are at the top. This is the one thing that everyone should know when it comes to succeeding in life, and this article will highlight 3 reasons why people fail.
The first reason is selling yourself short. A lot of us go into the daily warzone of war with no belief in our abilities, thinking that we have been given a chance by some employer who is there because they are better than us. Yeah, right. This sort of mentality is the sole reason why most people can’t achieve what they dream of, because they’re not letting others keep them down, they’re keeping themselves down. How else can you break through the barriers of life when the most effective of them all are the ones that you have created for yourself? You must believe in yourself and everything you do. You must believe in yourself and know that one day you will succeed. Be arrogant - because that is the sort of mental position that drives ambition and fuels the fire you need. In some cases you are not here to make friends and be the nice guy/girl that bends over backwards for everyone you see.
Failure is the first step to paradise. That is a mantra I want you to keep locked in the back of your mind. Everyone has to fail before they can succeed; it’s the unavoidable truth, and you need to ingrain this into your mind. Don’t slouch your shoulders, don’t look back in anger and immediately search for a way out. I want you to grab failure with both of those hands that nature has given you and look it full in the face and tell yourself you will never ever ever make the same mistake ever again. When you fall, pick yourself back up and get back in. Everyone makes mistakes and perfectionists are just failing narcissists in grand robes that will always fall away. Mistake is the card you carry in your back pocket at all times and don’t be afraid to flaunt it around - it builds character and weeds out the weak from the strong.
There is never a lack of ability, only the opportunity to strengthen your existing ones. Think you can’t type very well - turn that lack of skill and be a master orator. Physically unfit? Then use your mind to bend steel. Each of us has our own unique talent or skillsets, and absolutely nothing can take that away from us, even tragic accidents that leave our physical bodies broken and hurt. The only true injury is in your mind - when you have accepted your fate and surrender your life to a storm of oncoming failures. The phrase ‘mind over matter’ is really one that you should remember, because what you think determines what you become in reality.
The only yardstick of success is yourself. Be happy with your life and keep that engine of ambition always fuelled. You will be amazed with the results.
