Ewen Chia is a man with a considerable reputation. He is as respected within Internet marketing as tiger woods is in golf!. Ewen is one of the most successful affiliate marketers on the web…this man generates HUGE wads of cash from his products, affiliate programs and joint ventures. Now, Why am i blabbering on about Ewen Chia? Well, its because hes just released the Secret Affiliate Weapon!Whats The Secret Affiliate Weapon? The Secret Affiliate Weapon is Ewens new money making system. Basically, the sales page promises that Ewen is going to reveal some of his most effective affiliate marketing strategies if you sign up for his membership site. Its also incredibly cheap at $9.97 (typically this sort of system would sell for upward of $50). This made me very skeptical to start with, although it proved to be unfounded . Secret Affiliate Weapon promises to “show you how to make massive amounts of instant cash from affiliate programs on complete autopilot”. A bold claim indeed! Is Ewen true to his word? Well lets see shall we…..!?So What Did I Find When I Purchased The Secret Affiliate Weapon? What i found is that Ewen clearly presented 3 of his principle weapons in a concise little blueprint package. One in particular proved to be very very useful to me.You see, one of the hardest things that affiliate marketers often have to overcome is breaking into a competitive market. It can be very intimidating indeed. Secret Affiliate Weapon presented me with Ewens thinking on this topic and it blew my mind! It basically slapped me in the face, showed me what i was doing wrong, and what i should be doing [...] Continue Reading…

What is the Secret?

Friday 2 January 2009 @ 3:10 am

The Secret DVD was released in the latter part of 2006. Since then the film, which has only been released on DVD and streamed on the internet, has become an international hit. It’s incredible success is due as much to the innovative way the film has been marketed as to the quality of the film. Although the film is certainly interesting and inspiring in many ways, I feel that it perhaps is even more successful and instructive as a lesson in marketing and promotion. But first, what is the film about? The Secret is about the law of attraction. The law of attraction is a teaching that has been around for many years and in essence states that what you focus on, you attract. Or as Mike Dooley says in the movie, “Thoughts becomes Things”. If your mind tends to obsess about things that it doesn’t want, as most of our minds tend to do, then we will tend to attract more of the same. For example, if you are worried about the bills that you are having trouble paying and keep thinking about how terrible it all is, how come I never have enough money, why does this always happen to me, then the law of attraction states that you will attract more bills, more debt, more of the same. We are like magnets and attract whatever our dominant vibration is.This may sound like a bunch of new-age mumbo-jumbo and if presented in a superficial manner I agree that it is. However, I have no doubt and science has pretty much proved that our mind has a profound effect on our body and it is not too [...] Continue Reading…

Brainpower Games Anyone Can Play

Thursday 1 January 2009 @ 12:40 pm

Brainpower games are those games which exercise your mental capacity. My personal favorite is Chess, but there are many others, some of which you probably already play or have played. Here is a look at a few of the more common ones and how they may help your mind. Crossword Puzzles For many years people have noticed that older folks who regularly did crosswords seemed to stay mentally sharper as they aged, compared to those who didn’t exercise their brains in similar ways. Recent research has supported this idea. As a mental exercise, one of the primary advantages of doing crossword puzzles is that it’s a brainpower game you can play by yourself. Chess Historically THE thinker’s game, chess is not - contrary to what many think - just a left-brain analytical contest. Playing well requires both hemispheres of the brain. Your left-brain will be analyzing possible moves and predicting responses of your opponent. Your right brain will be grasping the spatial relationships on the board and providing an intuitive grasp of good positioning. An interesting note: many top players are also musically talented, and handling music is right hemisphere function in most people. Scrabble You may think that this classic word game is all about vocabulary, and it can really help you learn a lot of new words, especially if you play with an open-dictionary rule. But to really play well, you have to learn strategy. You have to figure out where to place your words, and how to make multiple words in one play. A good understanding of how to score the most points on each turn can make you a better player than [...] Continue Reading…

Your Creativity Quotient - How To Boost It

Thursday 1 January 2009 @ 12:40 pm

We don’t have a precisely-numbered measure of your “creativity quotient,” yet, like we have for your intelligence quotient, or “IQ.” But tests which do try to measure your creative ability generally look at three criteria. These are the quantity of your ideas, their originality, and the possible usefulness or “quality” of those ideas. With that in mind, here are some techniques for doing better in all three areas. Creativity Through Quantity More ideas means a higher probability of a few good ideas. This has been shown in both research and most of personal experiences. How, then, do we generate more ideas? Start by practicing. If you had to write down as many uses as you could in ten minutes for a piece of string (a common creativity exercise), you might get a dozen ideas the first time you try. Do it a few times, though (with different items), and you’ll soon find that you are coming up with twice as many ideas. This is especially true if you do this with others. Their ideas will get you thinking in new ways. You can also learn one or more of the many specific techniques for generating ideas. They include mentally combining concepts to create new ones, tearing apart things and processes to change the components, challenging premises and more. If you want instructions in how to use these special methods, they can usually be found online by searching “problem solving techniques,” or “creativity techniques.” A Higher Creativity Quotient Means More Original Ideas Existing ideas have likely been tried. What is new, then, can more likely add value to what is already here. New to you may not [...] Continue Reading…
